As a landscape photographer living in Hawke's Bay, I’m constantly inspired by the region’s stunning seasons and clear days. From the rolling vineyards of the Heretaunga Plains to the remote mountains of the forest parks, I was incredibly lucky to have this place as my practice ground to hone my skills. Sunrises from the regions’ crown jewel Te Mata Peak never get old; there’s a quiet magic in the early morning fog drifting through the Tukituki Valley, and if you’re lucky you might catch Ruapehu watching over you from over 100 kilometres away.
